Hi! My name is Sara Howard and I am currently a second grade teacher at Chipman Elementary School in Wicomico County.
During the 2009-2010 School Year I will specialize in teaching Reading, Language Arts, and Spelling to my second grade students and will pair teach with Mrs. Wootten who will specialize in teaching Math, Science and Social Studies! I will also be the Technology Resource Teacher for our school during the upcoming school year. I currently have a technology bundle in my classroom along with a class set of Palms which my students always love to use. My Reading classes will be involved with The Daily Five strategies this year to improve reading skills. I absolutely love working with my students, instructing with technology, teaching students how to use technology themselves, and watching students grow and learn throughout the school year. One day, I hope to become a Technology Coach for the county so that I am able to spread my love of using technology with many students of different ages! I am currently working on a Masters in Education on the Teaching and Learning with Technology track at Salisbury University.
